Exterior Design Elements

The instantly recognizable, fluid and powerful lines of this fine automobile are a combination of classic looks and aerodynamic functionality, but all you see is the beauty of the 2014 Continental GT. The few exterior design differences between the base V8 and the W-12 Speed models are red-enameled badges, black grilles and figure-eight exhaust tips on the V8s.

Other outside features include body-color front/rear bumpers/mirrors, power-fold mirrors w/integrated turn signals, Bi-Xenon headlight w/cleaners, tinted glass, fog lights, chrome/bright trim and a rear spoiler.

Power and Performance

Now a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 gives 500 horses for 487ft-lbs Tq to the Continental GT base model. All that massive power goes to all four wheels (60% to the rear) via a new automatic 8-speed transmission, allowing to hit 60 miles per hour in about 4.6 seconds.

The Speed version has a 6.0L twin-turbocharged W-12 that creates a sensational 616 horses for 590 ft-lbs Tq that goes to all wheels through an automatic 8-speed transmission. For a car that weighs in at nearly three tons, it is amazing that the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed coupe can hit sixty miles per hour in just 4 seconds - with a top speed of 205 miles per hour.

Safety

The 2014 Bentley Continental GT comes standard with full airbags, ventilated disc anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control, Brake Assist, EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), electronic hand brake, engine immobilizer, front/rear radar parking sensors, rearview camera, tire kit and all-wheel drive. Anti-theft protection includes interior monitoring and anti-lift. GT Convertibles also feature roll bars that automatically pop up for extra protection in rollover situations.
